Flow Chart
Today, we worked with the bubbl.us site. This was my first time to use this site. It was both interesting and complicated due to its many features. However, although it was quite though to comprehend how to use it, I strongly believe that I would use this in the near future (after I tinker around it again. Lol.).
1) What is the learning outcome or expected goal of your mind-map. In what way will this mind-map improve your students learning of the concept or characterization?
Students will be able to brainstorm and establish a "chain-of-command" using a computer system software. This mind-map will improve students' learning of the concept of characterization by introducing levels of hierarchy.
2) What did you think was the most important lesson you learned from this activity?
I believe that the most important lesson I learned in this activity was the collaboration that was used when trying to figure out how to work the kinks of this assignment.
3) What did you like or dislike about the software bubbl.us?
The only thing I liked about using the software: bubl.us, was the use of the map webbing mechanisms that allowed us to connect and modify our project easily. As for my dislikes, well, I'd have to say it was the collaboration part; I mean, we were able to solve somethings by working together, but it was too complicated to understand how to use it efficiently and effectively.
4) What would you do differently next time you do mind-mapping and/or use this tool?
I guess I'd tinker around again and make sure I explore every bit of feature it has, including the collaboration part, even if I have to collaborate with myself using two different usernames.
5) Think of another assignment where this mind-mapping tool could be used?
The structure of the U.S. Government for a Social Studies' class. This could be used to better explain how laws are passed and vetoed.

Cre8 a blog
Today, we created a blog! yayness! lol. We also got the opportunity to play the Find Someone Game for our ice breaker. Still, there's no one in class whose first name begins with a vowel. This seems like a fun and interesting class. Can't wait to start!
